“Texas Man Found Alive and Injured After Being Missing for Over 8 Years”
Rudolph Rudy Farias IV, who disappeared as an 18-year-old in Houston, has been discovered alive after more than eight years. He was found over the weekend with cuts, bruises, and blood in his hair.
According to the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System (NamUs), Farias was last seen on March 6, 2015, at the age of 18. He was reported to have been walking his dogs in a northeast Houston neighborhood at the time of his disappearance.
The Texas Center for the Missing announced on Twitter that Farias had been located and was safe. He is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital, as confirmed by the nonprofit organization.
Farias’ mother reported that he was found unresponsive outside a church, prompting someone to call 911. He had multiple cuts and bruises all over his body, along with blood in his hair. During an interview with a local news station, she mentioned that despite their efforts to communicate with him, Farias could only manage a few words before assuming a fetal position. She expressed gratitude that he was found alive and acknowledged that his recovery would be a challenging and lengthy journey.
